Tarkan Stage Visuals - Istanbul Agliyor
We designed stage visuals for Tarkan’s huge concert at the opening ceremony of the 2010 Istanbul Capitol of Culture event.
A live broadcast of the event allowed millions of people to watch these stage visuals along with over 50.000 spectators at the concert. We produced these visuals using 2D & 3D animations, stop motion and video techniques. Because of song copyrights we can only broadcast a small section of the stage visuals along with some scenes from the concert.

Yes, there is one certainity in this endless chaos and it is that we are waiting for Godot to come."says Vladimir. We are not waiting for anyone. You don't have to invent games like Vladimir and Estragon to soothe your boredom. Hundreds of sights and sounds already entertain us. We face with tens of new sights and sounds without even being able to react to any. Wars, murders, betrayals, lies, infringements etc. They all repeat themselves in such a speed that make it impossible to bring account any of them. They simulate themselves to all kinds of ordinary stuff they flow along. They enter into the real life over our perceptions and they multiply themselves over us. We cannot get rid of this nightmare. How can someone stop something that builds his own self ? Can a self that is built so quickly resist against anything? Who can he rely on? What can he expect?

In year 2011, we shot videos for each of the Mey Beverage brands ( Altınbaş, Kulüp Rakı and İzmir Rakı ). All actors in these B-Movie Style videos were employees of the company. Poor visual effects, scripts that cast never read, production errors… One of the funniest productions we were involved so far. We are not able to put these widely appreciated videos here in accordance with our privacy agreement with the Mey Beverage Company.

This project we realized for Jacobs Coffee has been awarded as the Best Video Site in International Stevie Awards.
Punkt Studio produced the main video and digital synchronization of the user uploaded photos with the video.

We participated in the exhibition that have been held in connection with a symposium on the writer Ihsan Oktay Anar’s book Kitab-ul Hiyel ( The Book of Mechanics ). We modeled and animated several war machines in the book and illustrated characters from different books of the author. Our illustrations have been used in the event poster and also have been exhibited.
